Editor's Top Make Up Picks
If you’re anything like our Editor, you like to go for a natural look that highlights and accentuates your features without using too many products. It’s spring time and you want to be on the go from brunch with your crew to seeing new exhibits at LACMA to lasting you through meetings. You need the products that are going to look solid and last you the day.
Foundation: Always start with a good moisturizer. Angela has oily skin so she uses GM Collin’s Purative Cream prior to putting on Chanel’s Ultra Le Teint Ultrawear All-Day Comfort Flawless Finish Foundation. She loves this foundation because it’s smooth, glides on perfectly and gives you almost an airbrushed coverage that is to die for and it doesn’t get flakey.
Highlight & Contour: Ok, so people can love or hate the Kardashians, but Angela will tell you one thing. KKW’s Creme Highlight and Contour Sticks work like magic. Super clean cut lines are totally achievable and with just a few pen strokes along the cheekbones, edges of the nose and around the forehead, you are going to look unbelievably snatched. However, for that extra umph for highlighting underneath the under-eyes, YSL’s Touche Eclat High Cover Radiant Concealer is almost always in her bag.
Blush: This has always been a difficult product to find “the one” for until Kylie Jenner came out with her new blush collection. Baddie on the Block is one to keep in rotation in your arsenal. Packaging. Check. Color. On point. Application. Flawless. No need to say more.
Brows: Holy Grail right here is Anastasia’s Dip Brow.
Lips: Lipsticks are fun, sophisticated and they last, but let’s face it. Glosses are so much better and YSL’s Glossy Stain Lip Color is the best of both worlds. However, when Angela just wants to play it down, it’s GM Collin’s Lip Plumping Complex in Rose.
