Summer is right around the corner and we are all needing to look and feel our best prior to breaking out those bikinis for the ‘Gram. Here is what Editor, Angela Butkus swears by for getting in shape and looking great while doing it.

  1. The Outfit: Nothing is more motivating to get to the gym than breaking in new workout attire. Angela absolutely adores Good American to exercise in not only because they have really cute and flattering pieces, but their fabrics are soft, high quality and move with your body, making squats and burpees a sinch because you feel super comfortable while doing them.

2. The Workout: Full body workouts are the way to go if you are wanting to slim down for the summer, though as ladies, we do like a little emphasis on our glutes and legs.
Here is Angela’s go to workout routine she performs every Monday:

  • Chest Press Machine: 4 sets of 16; 0 seconds rest
    Jumping Jacks: 4 sets of 16; 60 seconds rest

  • Squats: 4 sets of 16; 0 seconds rest
    Dumbell Deadlift: 4 sets of 16; 60 seconds rest

  • DB Squats to Shoulder Press: 4 sets of 16; 0 seconds rest
    Wide Grip Lat Pull-Downs: 4 sets of 16; 60 seconds rest

  • Leg Press: 4 sets of 16; 0 seconds rest
    Hamstring Curls: 4 sets of 16; 60 seconds rest
